    • Want to join an online book club? Marla Taviano is featuring a
“read-a-long” with the book “7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess” by Jen Hatmaker. The book is about 7 areas of excess in Jen’s life that she took simple but drastic actions to rid her life of while taking back her family life. Chapters focus on food, clothes, possessions, media, waste, spending, and stress. If you are interested in digging in and discussing—and changing your life, too—join Marla for discussions starting next Tuesday. Click HERE for more details and to join the group’s introductions!

    • This is a cute post about how to view motherhood—as if you’re on the red carpet!

    • With all the Valentine hubbub, I missed Mardi Gras! Well, not that we usually celebrate it. We don’t celebrate President’s Day, either. My kids asked me why we don’t have birthday cake for President’s Day? So I figure any holiday or event is a good time to have cake—including
King Cake for Mardi Gras. Anybody ever make one of these? This one from Love and Flour looks great!

Thanks, Susan! Do you use the site YouVersion? I’m just tapping into it–great site. You can even have the Bible read to you!
